Indeterminate Sentencing Law passed. Each of the state prisons authorized their own paroles.

1957, Public Act 57-461

Created a three-member Board of Parole to replace the State Prison Board of Directors as the paroling authority

1968, July 1, Public Act 67-152

Autonomous Board of Parole placed within the newly established Department of Correction

2004, July 1, Public Act 04-234

Replaced by the newly created Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles
